Courtney Dugan
Performer, Intimacy Coordination, Costume & Make-up Designer
Courtney Dugan is a Canadian singer and theatre artist based in Berlin. A natural performer at heart, she pursued her passion by attending an arts high school, eventually earning a Bachelor's degree in Vocal Performance. Post graduation, she went on to perform in multiple opera and music theatre festivals across Canada as well as her hometown company, The Gilbert & Sullivan Society of Winnipeg.
Working at non-profit arts organizations, such as Vancouver Opera, she has crafted and led programming for children, vulnerable adults and managed a touring opera. She has taught as a private music teacher - incorporating movement and body awareness from her 200-hour yoga teacher training. Her devotion to self-expression led her to take the stage at Monster Ronson's as a Karaoke Jockey and Host, empowering the community and stepping into the world of drag as Cookie Moanstar.
Stage credits include, A Chorus Line (Sheila Bryant), Little Women: The Musical (Marmee) and Into the Woods (Rapunzel & Stepmother). She most recently has stepped into the role of Intimacy Coordinator and has also done makeup and hair design for the iconic characters of MTS's The Wizard of Oz and Out of This Box: The Last Musical (Written by Humans).
